The numbers of paraffins indicate their melting point.

62-66

A kind of "entry" product for hobby level candle casting that will soon become your best friend! :)

As all other paraffins have a higher oil content (% (m / m), max. 1.50), crystalline stains can sometimes form on overheating or when mixed with other substances (dyes, essential oils).

It's not that common, but based on experience so far, you can run into it, so be sure to consider this feature if you choose it! (Some people are looking for this directly because they want a more special effect)

Lots of beautiful candles have been made from it, including all the little ones in Hubbsala, so Talpigpracli would absolutely recommend it! :)

It is characterized by a white, slightly translucent, smaller, chunkier (thicker), rounder pastilles.

Main application:

  • wood impregnation (carpenters, beekeepers)
  • candle casting
  • pyrotechnics (eg. Greek fire)

57-59

It is definitely the queen of paraffins!

Many who have tried it just want it! :)

Color: white, slightly translucent, with larger eyes on the outside, flat (we could call it slender;), it consists of slightly egg-like lozenges, the shape is the same as 62-66 kind.

Most professional candle makers use this type because it heats up quickly and quickly and gives the perfect end result.

It is not characterized by blemishes at all.
